Important Notice

By accessing this website, requesting a quotation, booking a tour, paying a deposit, or confirming travel services with Ask Aladdin, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use this website or proceed with a booking.

Clients booking by telephone, website, email, online form, messaging platform, or through an authorized representative are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Booking Conditions before confirming their travel arrangements.

A booking becomes legally binding only after Ask Aladdin has confirmed its acceptance in writing and issued a confirmation invoice or written booking confirmation.

Terms and Conditions at a Glance

Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after written acceptance and issuance of a confirmation invoice.
Deposits
A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit may be required to reserve travel services.
Final Payment
Final balances must be paid by the due date stated in your confirmation invoice or itinerary proposal.
Cancellations
Cancellation charges apply according to the notice period and supplier rules.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for some tours.
Supplier Services
Some services are provided by independent hotels, airlines, cruise companies, transport providers, and local operators.

1. The Booking Contract

The contract is between Ask Aladdin and the client, meaning all persons named on the booking form, quotation, invoice, or confirmed travel file who are traveling or intending to travel under the booking.

For certain holidays, tours, cruises, hotel stays, transportation services, optional excursions, or travel arrangements in Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Turkey, Morocco, or other destinations, Ask Aladdin may act as an authorized agent for local suppliers, partners, hotels, cruise operators, airlines, or destination-management providers. In such cases, the supplier’s own terms and conditions may also apply.

By confirming a booking, the client accepts responsibility for ensuring that all members of the traveling party have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Tour Prices

Tour prices are generally quoted according to the season of travel, destination, itinerary length, hotel or cruise category, room type, transportation arrangements, domestic flights where applicable, sightseeing inclusions, guide services, and any special requests made by the client.

Per Person Pricing
Unless stated otherwise, tour prices are quoted per person and are normally based on two persons sharing one room.
Room Categories
Single, triple, quad, family, suite, cruise cabin, or upgraded-room prices are quoted separately or negotiated at the time of pricing.
Price Changes
Prices may change until the booking is confirmed and payment requirements are met.

3. Deposits and Payment for Your Holiday

To reserve travel services, Ask Aladdin may require a deposit. Unless otherwise stated in writing, a deposit of USD 200 per person may be required to secure the booking. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless a different written condition is clearly stated in the confirmed quotation or invoice.

Payment of the deposit indicates that the client has read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit or required payment has been processed and Ask Aladdin has issued written confirmation.

Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, debit card, credit card, PayPal, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or other methods confirmed by Ask Aladdin at the time of booking.

Final payment must be received by the due date stated in your invoice. Where no different date is stated, the final balance is generally due no later than 90 days before departure. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and application of cancellation charges.

4. Late Bookings

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for small-group tours, peak-season travel, Nile cruises, luxury hotels, domestic flights, private guides, special events, and high-demand holiday periods.

  • For bookings received within six weeks of the tour start date, full payment may be required immediately.
  • Late bookings may be subject to additional supplier charges, urgent processing costs, flight fare differences, hotel availability changes, or higher transportation rates.
  • The contract comes into existence once full payment has been received and Ask Aladdin has confirmed the booking in writing.

5. Changes Requested by the Client

Any requested change to a confirmed booking must be submitted in writing by the person responsible for the booking. This includes changes to hotels, room type, passenger names, tour services, arrival or departure dates, itinerary elements, transportation arrangements, or special requests.

An administration fee of USD 100 per booking may apply, in addition to any costs imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise operators, local suppliers, guides, transportation companies, or other service providers.

While Ask Aladdin will make reasonable efforts to accommodate change requests, changes cannot be guaranteed and may depend on availability, supplier terms, seasonality, ticketing rules, and the notice period provided.

6. Transfer of Booking, Name Substitution, or Postponement

If a member of the traveling party is unable to travel, it may be possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person, provided that written notice is received at least 45 days before departure and all supplier rules allow the change.

A suitable replacement traveler must complete any required forms, provide required documentation, obtain approval to travel where applicable, and meet the requirements of the itinerary, visa process, travel insurance, health conditions, and activity suitability.

An administration fee of USD 100 may be charged, plus any additional costs imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise operators, local suppliers, or other service providers. Airlines may impose full cancellation charges or require the purchase of a new ticket.

If clients wish to postpone their trip to a later date, written notice should be provided at least 30 days before departure. Postponements are subject to availability, supplier rules, price differences, seasonal surcharges, and administration fees.

7. Cancellation by the Client

Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing and must be acknowledged by Ask Aladdin in writing. The cancellation date will be the date on which Ask Aladdin receives the written cancellation request.

Unless different written conditions apply to your specific tour, cruise, package, hotel, flight, or supplier arrangement, cancellation charges may apply as follows:

70–50 Days Before Tour Start
50% of the total booking cost may be charged.
50–25 Days Before Tour Start
80% of the total booking cost may be charged.
Less Than 25 Days Before Tour Start
100% of the total booking cost may be charged.

Amendment fees, insurance premiums, visa fees, domestic flights, special permits, non-refundable hotel nights, cruise bookings, supplier deposits, and other prepaid services may be non-refundable. Part cancellation by one or more travelers may result in additional costs for the remaining travelers.

8. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all clients and may be mandatory for certain tours, destinations, adventure activities, cruises, or supplier arrangements.

Clients are responsible for arranging insurance that adequately covers medical expenses, emergency evacuation, accident, illness, cancellation charges, curtailment, baggage loss, travel delay, missed connections, supplier failure where available, and the specific activities included in their itinerary.

Clients should ensure that their insurance policy does not exclude activities included in their tour and should arrange supplementary cover if necessary.

9. Changes by Ask Aladdin or Suppliers

Ask Aladdin aims to operate all confirmed tours as described. However, the client accepts that it may be necessary or advisable to vary, modify, or substitute elements of an itinerary due to local conditions, supplier availability, weather, safety concerns, operational reasons, transportation changes, fuel costs, government action, exchange rates, or events beyond our control.

Where possible, Ask Aladdin will provide alternative arrangements of comparable value or quality. Examples of minor changes may include changes to flight times, aircraft type, transport routing, hotel substitution to a similar standard, order of sightseeing, guide schedule, or itinerary timing.

Where a major change occurs before departure and is not caused by force majeure, low bookings, supplier failure, or circumstances outside our control, Ask Aladdin will advise the client of available options, which may include accepting the revised arrangements, choosing an alternative arrangement where available, or canceling in accordance with the applicable booking conditions.

10. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Our Control

Ask Aladdin shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing contractual obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Force majeure may include, but is not limited to, war, threat of war, civil unrest, terrorism, natural disaster, fire, flood, extreme weather, epidemic or pandemic, airport or port closure, airline disruption, government restriction, border closure, technical or maintenance problems with transportation, supplier disruption, strikes, industrial action, or any similar event beyond the control of Ask Aladdin or its suppliers.

11. Cancellation by Ask Aladdin

Ask Aladdin reserves the right to cancel a tour where necessary. We will not normally cancel a tour close to departure except due to force majeure, low bookings, supplier disruption, safety concerns, operational reasons, or the client’s failure to pay the final balance or any applicable surcharge when due.

If Ask Aladdin cancels a tour for reasons not caused by the client, we will advise the client as soon as reasonably possible and offer the available options, which may include alternative travel arrangements, a revised itinerary, a credit where agreed, or a refund of recoverable monies paid to us, excluding non-refundable supplier costs where applicable.

Ask Aladdin cannot be responsible for visa costs, vaccination costs, independent flight tickets, independent hotel bookings, or other third-party arrangements made by the client outside the confirmed Ask Aladdin booking.

12. Surcharges and Price Adjustments

Ask Aladdin reserves the right to increase the tour cost to reflect changes in government action, taxes, fuel costs, transportation costs, exchange rates, airport charges, port fees, airline fares, supplier charges, or similar cost increases beyond our control.

If a surcharge results in an increase of more than 10% of the total tour cost, excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges, Ask Aladdin will notify the client as soon as possible. The client may then have the option to accept the surcharge or cancel the booking within the stated response period, subject to the specific supplier and booking conditions applicable to the tour.

13. Passports, Visas, Vaccinations, and Entry Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, health documents, travel permissions, and any other documents required for the entire journey.

Passport validity, visa rules, entry requirements, vaccination requirements, border procedures, and transit rules may change. Clients must verify all requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, airline, government authority, or official source before travel.

Information provided by Ask Aladdin about passports, visas, climate, clothing, baggage, health, or entry requirements is given in good faith but does not replace official government or professional advice.

14. Tour Participation and Client Responsibility

Clients agree to accept the authority and reasonable decisions of Ask Aladdin representatives, tour leaders, guides, suppliers, hotel managers, transport providers, airline staff, cruise operators, and other persons in positions of authority during the tour.

If the health, fitness, conduct, behavior, or actions of a client endanger or appear likely to endanger the client, other travelers, staff, suppliers, local communities, property, or the smooth operation of the tour, the client may be excluded from part or all of the tour without refund or compensation.

Clients are responsible for any damage, loss, injury, cost, fine, penalty, or claim caused by themselves or any member of their party. Full payment for such damage or loss must be made directly to the relevant supplier, property owner, manager, or Ask Aladdin as required.

If a client chooses not to participate in any part of a confirmed itinerary once the tour has started, no refund will be given for unused services, as these arrangements are usually prepaid based on the confirmed number of participants.

15. Medical Conditions, Disabilities, and Special Requirements

Clients must inform Ask Aladdin before booking if they have any medical condition, disability, mobility limitation, dietary requirement, allergy, pregnancy, fitness concern, or special requirement that may affect their participation in the tour or the arrangements of other travelers.

Ask Aladdin will make reasonable efforts to assist in assessing the suitability of a proposed itinerary, but not all destinations, hotels, vehicles, historic sites, desert camps, cruise vessels, or activities may be suitable for all travelers.

Clients must promptly inform Ask Aladdin if any medical condition, disability, or special requirement changes after booking confirmation.

16. Optional Tours and Trip Add-Ons

Ask Aladdin, local representatives, or tour guides may provide information about optional activities, excursions, restaurants, shows, cruises, adventure activities, shopping visits, or local experiences that are not included in the pre-booked package.

Where optional activities are operated by independent local providers, they do not form part of the contract with Ask Aladdin unless expressly included in the confirmed itinerary and invoice. The local provider’s own terms, conditions, insurance, safety rules, and cancellation policies may apply.

Ask Aladdin cannot guarantee that optional activities will be available, operate as advertised, or remain at the same price, as they may depend on weather, supplier schedules, minimum numbers, safety conditions, local rules, or operational factors.

17. Flights and Airline Services

A flight described as “direct” is not necessarily non-stop. Departure and arrival times are supplied by the airline and are estimates only. Flight times may change due to air traffic control, weather, operational requirements, maintenance, security, airline schedule changes, or other reasons.

Ask Aladdin is not liable for losses, missed connections, delays, schedule changes, denied boarding, baggage issues, or other airline matters where these are under the control of the airline or aviation authority.

Clients must comply with airline check-in rules, baggage regulations, passport and visa requirements, and any health or security procedures required for travel.

18. Website, Brochure, and Advertising Accuracy

Information on the Ask Aladdin website, brochures, advertisements, emails, itineraries, and other marketing materials is prepared in good faith and believed to be correct at the time of publication. However, errors may occur and information may change after publication.

Clients must check all important details of their chosen tour, including price, inclusions, exclusions, hotel category, cruise category, itinerary order, domestic flights, entry requirements, and special requests, at the time of booking confirmation.

19. Responsibility and Supplier Services

Ask Aladdin makes every reasonable effort to ensure that travel arrangements and services connected with the tour are provided as confirmed. However, many services are provided by independent suppliers, including airlines, hotels, cruise companies, restaurants, transport companies, local guides, site operators, museums, attractions, and optional excursion providers.

Where Ask Aladdin acts as an agent for such suppliers, the supplier’s own terms and conditions may apply, and Ask Aladdin may not have direct control over every aspect of service delivery.

20. Complaints

If a client has a complaint about any tour arrangement, the client must inform Ask Aladdin, the tour guide, local representative, or supplier as soon as possible during the trip so that there is an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Failure to report a problem while on tour may reduce or remove the opportunity to correct the issue and may affect any later claim.

If the complaint cannot be resolved during the tour, the client should submit the complaint in writing within 28 days of returning from the tour, including booking details, supporting evidence, and a clear explanation of the issue.

21. Privacy and Personal Information

To process bookings and provide travel services, Ask Aladdin may need to collect personal information such as names, contact details, passport details, travel dates, payment-related information, dietary requirements, medical or accessibility needs, emergency contacts, and other information necessary to arrange the trip.

Ask Aladdin may need to share relevant information with suppliers such as airlines, hotels, cruise operators, transport providers, guides, local agents, payment processors, insurers, government authorities, immigration authorities, or other parties where required to operate the booking or comply with legal obligations.

Ask Aladdin takes reasonable measures to protect personal information. Clients who do not wish to receive promotional communications may contact Ask Aladdin to request removal from marketing lists.

22. Images, Media, and Copyright

Images of hotels, cruises, rooms, vehicles, attractions, restaurants, and destinations shown on the Ask Aladdin website, brochures, proposals, or marketing materials are used for illustration purposes. The specific hotel, room, cruise cabin, vehicle, view, meal, or facility provided may differ from the image shown, depending on availability and confirmed arrangements.

Clients agree that images or videos taken during tours may be used by Ask Aladdin for promotional purposes where legally permissible, unless the client informs Ask Aladdin in writing that they do not wish to be photographed or filmed for such use.

Ask Aladdin respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that any image or media used on our website infringes your copyright, please contact us with details so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action where required.
