Welcome to Cairo! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative who will assist you through immigration and customs formalities. After you have collected your luggage he will then take you, in our deluxe vehicle, to your Cairo hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a full day tour. In the morning you will be driven to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx: the most famous monuments of not only ancient Egypt but of the entire ancient world! These massive stone structures were built around 4,500 years ago on a rocky desert plateau close to the Nile. After lunch, at a local restaurant, you will be taken to Sakkara to see the very first pyramid ever built; the Step Pyramid of Djoser. You will also get the chance to see some fantastic mastabas, then you will be heading off to visit the ancient capital of Egypt: Memphis. where you will see the Colossus of RamsesII! After the visit, you will be driven to the Papyrus Institute where you will see how the ancient Egyptians made this forerunner to today's paper; have a go at making it yourself; and get the opportunity to look at some fantastic examples of papyrus art, with no obligation to buy.
After this amazing trip through Egypt's pharaonic past. You will be driven back to your hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by another full day tour, but this time you will spend the forenoon at the Egyptian Museum: gaze at the wonders of King Tutankhamen, including his golden death mask; stare upon the mummies of some of Egypt's ancient pharaohs (optional); lose yourself in the many rooms and galleries, where thousands of artefacts are awaiting your visit.
After lunch, which will be at a local restaurant, you will be taken to the Citadel of Saladin, the fortress built between 1176 and 1183 AD, to protect Cairo from the Crusaders and rebuilt by Muhammad Ali Pasha, whose mosque is a "must see". From here you will be taken on a tour of Cairo famous Churches, including The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo's oldest structures; and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims. At the end of this exciting day, you will be driven to visit the old market of Cairo (Khan El-Khalili) to test your haggling skills, and then to your hotel to check-out before being transferred to Ramses railway station where you will board night sleeper train to Aswan, which departs at 2025. Dinner will be served on board.
0815 and you have now arrived at Aswan station. Here you will be met and assisted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon you will get a view of Elephantine Island as you pass by it on a felucca (sailing boat) and then you will visit The Aga Khan Mausoleum. Felucca ride over, it is back to the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast at hotel and check out; Then you will be driven to see the High Dam, the worlds largest rock filled dam, and the Temple of Philae, moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to Aswan to your cruise boat: your floating hotel for your next 4 days. Dinner and ovrnight onboard.
A new day and your first breakfast on board before you are driven to see the High Dam, the worlds largest rock filled dam, and the Temple of Philae, moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to Aswan to rejoin your cruise and as the Nile laps gently underneath you, lunch is served. After lunch, the boat sails majestically towards Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. After the visit you will be taken back to the boat for your dinner while it sails onward to Edfu.
Edfu, home of the best preserved temple in Egypt: the Temple of Horus. This is the temple you will be visiting after breakfast, and afterwards your guide will return you to your cruise boat for lunch as the boat sails karnakmajestically towards Esna. Once you reach Esna you will watch as it sails through the Esna locks. Once through the locks the boat continues on its course towards Luxor, which it will reach after you have had dinner.
An early breakfast, check out and then it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor: the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings; the tombs of princes in the Valley of the Queens; the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri finishing with the immense Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, which you will have back on board, you will visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Once your visit to these ancient Theban Temples is complete you will return to the boat for your dinner.
Afterward, you will be driven, in our air-conditioned vehicle, for the 03:30 hrs trip to Hurghada, where you will check-in at your hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day belongs to you, but there will be opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and other water sports activities.

AIf the flight is to Cairo you will be met there by our representative who will assist you in transferring to Alexandria by our air-conditioned vehicle. (If the flight is direct to Alexandria, our representative will meet you at the airport). You will then be taken to your hotel for check-in.
Your day starts with breakfast in your hotel followed by a visit to some of the sites that this beautiful city, originally built by Alexander the Great, has to offer. These include a trip into the catacombs (Kom el Shoqafa), where the early Christians were buried; Pompey's Pillar, the biggest memorial column in Egypt, made of red granite and standing about 28 meters high.
Lunch will be supplied at a local restaurant in the middle of this exciting tour, and at the end of the day, you will be returned to your hotel for dinner.
After breakfast the second part of your tour of Alexandria starts with a visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, where, about 1480AD, the Mameluke Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay fortified the site, which held the ruins of the Alexandria Lighthouse, and with successive improvements it now stands as a very prominent Citadel on the Mediterranean coastline, which is followed by a visit to the Greco-Roman museum where 21 rooms contain about 40,000 valuable relics dating from as early as the 3rd century BCE.
You will then have lunch at a seafood restaurant overlooking the eastern port before being transferred back to Cairo in our air-conditioned vehicle, where you will check-in upon arrival.
Our final day starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. You will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure.

Because all of our packages are all privately arranged whereas you will get a private tour with private guide and private transportation, there is NO fixed start or finishing dates, you can do it at your own schedule. If we have to, we will simply alter the itinerary so that it fits with the cruise embarkation, ensuring that no planned visits are missed, just rescheduled somewhere else. This allows you to get the best available flights, which is a huge asset if you are traveling on a budget. Obviously, this is something that companies who only offer large group visits cannot offer.

CHANGE / REVISION FEES:
There are no extra fees for name changes. If you require a room type change from double to twin or vice versa, there are no fees but it is subject to availability.
Changing a different tour date is possible 180 or more days before your holiday start date & if the new tour has availability. There are no administration fees but you would have to pay the difference if the new dates are more expensive. It is not possible to change the dates of your holiday within 180 days of the start date.
All cancellations must be advised in writing (by mail or e-mail) to AskAladdin prior to tour departure during normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT, Mondays through Fridays). Cancellations are subject to the following penalties:
60-31 days before tour start date – 50% of the total booking cost
30-15 days before tour start date – 80% of the total booking cost
Less than 15 days before tour start date – 100%

06:30 am our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport to take an internal flight to Abu Simbel, where you will be able to gaze in amazement at these phenomenal rock-cut temples built by Ramses II. During your 2 hour stay here you will be able to enter both temples; the Temple of Ramses and the Temple of Nefertari. Please note that photography is not allowed inside the 2 temples.
Once your visit here is over you will be transferred to Abu Simbel Aiport for the flight back to Aswan, followed by transfer to your hotel in Aswan.
