We have now arrived home safe and sound and have settled back into home and work life.

I thought I would write to say how much we enjoyed the trip over to Egypt thanks to your fantastic organizing and support throughout our 3 week trip.
From the start of my correspondence with you over the internet including your quick efficient replies to my emails etc I felt we would be in safe hands with your company. It was good to meet you on arrival at the airport, the follow up phone calls during our tour, the confirmation of flights for us, made our trip so much easier.

We could not fault the transfer arrangements on all occasions (especially the 3am pickup from the airport) and our husbands formed a friendly relationship with both representatives and drivers. The upgrades at the hotels which included looking out over the Nile and pyramids was very special. A big thank you for organizing Mohammad to be our guide throughout our trip. He is a terrific guide and Egyptologist. We feel and hope that we formed a special rapport with him and we take home fond memories of our travels. Please pass on once again our thanks.

Finally and most importantly (and as you assured us) we had a safe trip throughout Egypt and I would not hesitate in referring any one to you.

We have arrived home safely and have already begun to tell people about our F A B U L O U S Egyptian experience. 
Your personal attention to every detail and prompt responses from the very inception of our tour to the end result was fantastic and made our 3 week trip to Egypt a trip of a lifetime, and one we will never forget.
You should be very proud of ALL your staff, from your representatives who were always there for the transfers and the registration at our accommodation (no matter what the time), your drivers who took on the task of battling the Egyptian traffic in their own cool manner, to the guides who gave us all the background knowledge and information on the fabulous country that is Egypt. They ALL made us feel that nothing was too much trouble and that we could ask anything of them and they would oblige (they made use feel very much at home).

Please pass on once again our thanks to Mohammed our guide and Egyptologist, Mohammed treated as friends and not just tourists. We felt he was showing friends around his country, which he obviously loves and so we also loved thanks to him.

Our Egyptian holiday was a memorable experience and is now a highlight of our overseas travels.

We had a wonderful trip and have been trying to email you to thank you, especially to Aladdin to tell him how much we appreciated being taken to dinner. Our children wanted to extend their thanks as well, they so enjoyed his company and the food.
We are very sorry for the delayed return response, we've had hurricane warnings and many weather problems.
As I have said, our land trip was wonderful, even amazing!!!. The food, the cruise, the hotels, everywhere was wonderful. We enjoyed everyone that we came in contact with, our guides, the drivers, Akmed was wonderful as well.

We would like to make you aware of one problem regariog the diving centre in sharm.

We were so excited to be in Egypt and especially looked forward to our dive. Because Aladdin is a diver, he will especially understand this.
The dive companies equipment was bad. My wife had to use her secondary on her regulator because the primary was barely allowing air to release, when we hit cold spots her secondary would barely work, she refused to do a third dive which she would have loved to have done under normal circumstances,

Our son's tank was leaking and he ran out of air prematurely on every dive after a certain pressure was reached, There should have been back up equipment, but I don't know that it would have worked properly either. My wife told them her concerns through out the day, she's a very experienced diver, but our guide continued to tell us everything was fine, mean while the equipment worker on the boat said our equipment should be thrown overboard because it was JUNK!!! Having rented equipment all over the world, when there is a problem it's addressed promptly, not brushed aside with an attitude that could easily put someone in jeopardy.
With that being stated, we understand that the dives were out of your direct control. After watching and being impressed with both the equipment and the dive master at the hotel Concorde, we hope to come back and dive there one day..
We have told everyone what a joy it was to work with your company and that it was a Vacation of a Life Time!!! One that we know our children will always remember as well.

We had a very memorable visit...one that was better than we could have ever expected. Our whole trip was seamless thanks to your wonderful associates.

Our greeter, Mr. Magdi was wonderful. He was always on time and eager to assist in all transfers. We appreciated his leadership and his ability to answer any questions we had. He gladly took care of the details of the entire trip, for which we were very grateful.

Our driver, Ashraf is undeniably the best driver in Egypt. We felt very safe and comfortable despite the crazy city traffic. We had many good drivers, but his talents and politeness stood out above the rest. He deserves a raise!

Hesham, our tour guide for the pyramids and the museum may very well be the best tour guide we've ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to understand due to his excellent and articulate English. He not only took time to describe everything we had questions about, he also explained the culture and other helpful and invaluable tips that we used throughout our trip.

We were very pleased with the accommodations as well as the professionalism of the crew on the ship. They were very polite and accommodating throughout the cruise. Although we did not have a detailed itinerary of the planned excursions, the trip was very well coordinated. Our tour guide Kirolos was also very knowledgeable and approachable for questions. He took time to sit down with us and explain further if we had any questions. He was also helpful in changing our itinerary to insure that we would not miss out on the sites of Aswan as we were booked to visit Abu Simbel on that day.

We were, however, a little confused once we got to Abu Simbel as we did not find our greeter nor know which tour bus to get on. Once we found a tour guide that took our cash, the excursion was smooth and enjoyable.

On our final day in Aswan, we were pleased that Haidy was able to put together an excursion to Philae Temple and the High Dam. These sites were truly impressive and it was such a pleasure to have Inis as our guide. She was also very knowledgeable and talented in English. We would like to thank Haidy again for changing that excursion for us so that that it would not be missed because of our Abu Simbel excursion.

Thank you for a wonderful trip. We will be pleased to recommend you to anyone who is interested in visiting Egypt.

Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time in Egypt. I had fantastic experience and it was only possible because of the flexibility and arrangements your team made for us. The Egypt Splendor tour is a well-designed tour for travellers with only a week to spend in Egypt - not only were we able to see an great amount of sites that gave us a good appreciation of Egypt's history, but we didn't feel rushed in anyway or too physically drained during the tour. I think a large part of why the tour program was so great was the transfers between the cities (flying vs. train/bus) which cut alot of dead time out of our schedules, more time to rest and of course more time to enjoy the cities we were in. In addition, because this was a private tour (vs. a large tour bus company operator) we were able to enjoy the sites at a bit more of a leisurely pace - absorb all the history and take all the pictures we wanted without feeling rushed.

Our first stop in Egypt was in Cairo and when we first got off the plane, the airport was pretty chaotic, but Raouf was there to greet us well before the customs reps and helped us quickly with our visas to usher us through customs without any problems or delays. From then on, until the time we left Egypt, I can say, we were very well taken care of by the representatives of your company. Your team was able to address any inquiries or requests quickly and efficiently and as well handled all the details (no matter how small) of our trip which alleviated any stress and helped to make our vacation more enjoyable. The tour guides were great - they were very informative and demonstrated a great deal of knowledge of the sites and your country.

We were especially pleased with your flexibility for our travels to Abu Simbel - we had signed up for the optional day trip to Abu Simbel. When we had originally booked our trip, an air transfer was not possible to Abu Simbel as there were no flights available on that day, but we opted for a car service to Abu Simbel (3 hours car ride). We were originally scheduled to leave at 11am but the day we were suppose to go to Abu Simbel was Oct 22 - Ramesses II's alleged birthday - where it is only one of 2 days in the whole year where at sunrise (for only 30 minutes) the sun shines through the temple and illuminates the sculptures on the back wall. Since this occurs only 2 times out of the year and only at sunrise, we requested that we be able to see this - your team was very flexible in re-arranging our itinerary to help start our adventure at 12:30am to arrive at Abu Simbel at 4am - which gave us ample time to see the sunrise and we managed to get through the crowds and into the temple to see the natural phenomenon. This was truly an amazing experience and for those visitors to come, it is definitely something you should consider seeing if you are ever in Egypt on either Oct 22 or Feb 22nd. Despite the early hours of this day trip- both our driver and the tour guide provided great service to us added to an already memorable experience.

We have had a great stay in your country and I am already day-dreaming of my next visit to Egypt - hopefully explore the Red Sea on another one of your tours. I would not hesitate in recommending your tours to anyone because of the level of professionalism and hospitality that you demonstrated throughout our trip. We are writing to express our gratitude for the wonderful job you have done in putting together a memorable program for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we arrived in Egypt to the moment we returned to Canada, your organization was flawless, thus allowing us to enjoy our time in Egypt without a single worry. Mr. Raouf Louis even took the time to sporadically get in touch with us to verify that all was going well.


We arrived at Cairo Airport at 4 a.m. on a very hot morning. We were amazed to see a representative holding a sign with our names even before we got to the customs officer. We didn’t have to worry about acquiring our Visas because it had already been done, and we had the comfort of a friendly welcoming presence in a country totally foreign to us. While we were being driven to our hotel, Mr. Ahmed, our representative, gave us a briefing on the cultural and social norms of Egypt – and Cairo in particular – and presented us with some survival tips during our stay. It was a great start to 16 fantastic days in this land of wonder and history.


We stayed in Cairo for six days (we also visited Alexandria during this time) and we visited all the pyramids, the museums, the mosques and the churches, the citadel and the market, and learned about life in Cairo and about its people. Our hotel was at a perfect location, overlooking the pyramids. Rania, our guide, and Hazem, our driver, were two incredible human beings who made us feel right at home with their friendliness and genuine interest in us and their concern for our interests as tourists. Besides being incredibly knowledgeable, Rania was always giving us tips on how to act at all the different places we visited, on how to deal with all the hagglers at the sites, on how much we should pay for various items at restaurants and at the market, and even going out of her way to buy things on our behalf in order for us to get a fair price. Hazem, our driver, kept his car clean at all times and always made sure that the air conditioner was at the right temperature. It was all extremely well organized. On our last day in Cairo, we were picked-up by our representative who accompanied us to the train station where we took a sleeper train to Aswan. Mr. Ahmed stayed with us until the train arrived and made sure we understood the itinerary that would follow.

We arrived in Aswan and, again, we had a representative waiting for us even though our train arrived three hours late. We stayed at the best hotel in town on an island in the Nile! We were given clear directions relating to our program – that included a visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Nubian Village - and everything occurred according to plan. No glitches!

On the next day we embarked on a four-day/three-night Nile Cruise where we met our representative who introduced us to our cruise guide, Marwan. This was a fantastic experience! The cruise staff was extremely friendly and our guide was very attentive and helpful. In Aswan, we visited the High Dam and the Philae Temple. We sailed to visit the Kom Ombo Temple and the Edfu Temple. The last two days were spent in Luxor where we visited the Luxor Temple, the Karnak Temple, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Valley of Kings. Again, the organization was solid and flawless.

After we checked out, we were met by another representative who briefed us on the next part of our program. We were then introduced to the driver who drove us across the desert to a Red Sea Resort in Urghada. It was a three-and-half-hour journey that gave us the opportunity to experience the desert from a comfortable and friendly spot.

Our last four days were spent at the Sonesta Red Sea Resort where we just relaxed and enjoyed the sun. Mr. Raouf Louis was kind enough to present us with a complimentary offer of a full day of snorkeling on July 24th, the date of our Wedding Anniversary. When we got back to the hotel, we had a cake delivered to us in celebration of our special day. It was an unbelievable experience that we definitely want to repeat.

Treasure Egypt was simply fantastic in every single aspect of our stay in Egypt. We met professionalism, dedication, and reliability from every single person who worked with us. We are extremely pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Treasure Egypt to anyone travelling to Egypt.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.

We really enjoyed our holiday to Egypt. Everything went according to plan.. All of our airport transfers were waiting for us on arrival. Our accommodation was nice, and the tour guides were excellent, they were all on time, very knowledgeable and really friendly. In particular, Bahaar who showed us around Etfu and Aswan. Our contact in Cairo "Waleed" was also excellent. He was waiting for us at the airport and had our visas all ready for us, which saved us waiting even longer! He was very courteous and very informative.. On the cruise all of the staff were great. There were a couple who paid extra attention to the kids, making them laugh and playing games with them, (as they were the youngest on the boat), which they really enjoyed. One of the men that serviced the rooms would make an animal out of the towels and sit it on the bed. Everyday the kids had a new surprise.
All round we were very impressed with the service we received and would recommend your agency to friends and family.

just wish to thank you for arranging such a wonderful Egyptian and Jordan holiday for our small group of 4. From the time we arrived in Cairo and were met at the airport by Walid, to the time we left Jordan the organisation was fantastic, and exceptional value for money.

The Egyptologist tour guides that you booked for our trip were absolutely wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable as you would expect. I must make special note of Ayman who not only guided us but also taught and challenged us to understand ancient Egyptian culture. The incorporation of lesser known antiquity sites, such as Abydos and Dandara temples were equally, and in some cases more spectacular the some of the more well known sites. Although every part of our holiday was a highlight, the trip down on the Nile on the Dahabeiya was absolutely wonderful. With only 3 cabins, all with private facilities, and 3 couples it was very intimate and peaceful. The crew were very respectful and unobtrusive, and we felt very spoilt by them as they were available to assist us 24 hours. We would often laze on the deck and watch the large cruisers sail by being very thankful that we were enjoying the tranquility of the dahabeiya.

The hotels in both Egypt and Jordan were on the whole excellent, although if we did have any concerns they were very quickly rectified by you.
Thank you again and I will definitely recommend you and your group to any others I know of who are planning a trip to Egypt. My husband and I are already discussing a return visit.

I apologize that it has taken so long to respond.
My friend Linda Marshall and I had a wonderful trip to Egypt, thanks to your pre-planning and suggestions on tour day changes. The two young men who met us at the airport and at the hotel in the mornings were polite, helpful, and willingly showed us an authentic Egyptian restaurant our first night, when we'd mentioned we'd like to try traditional food. It was over and above our expectations.

Amr, our tour guide, was excellent. He let us explore and take photos at our own pace, while providing interesting insights into the sites and culture. He was personable and knowledgeable and made for a week-long friend.

Our guide in Luxor was also helpful and informative. I forget his name, but he impressed us with his in-depth knowledge of Egyptian history and the Luxor landscape.

Our driver for most of the tour was excellent, as well. When considering the Cairo traffic, it is surprising that we got into no accidents. He was polite and friendly throughout our tour.
Overall, Linda and I are very pleased with our tour experience. We saw most of the main sights without feeling rushed or pressured to buy from vendors. Thank you for arranging our tour, and I am passing your name and tour company onto a friend to consider for her upcoming trip.

We enjoyed ourselves very much. There was some initial confusion over our vehicle rental. Mr. Ashraf had the impression that we were renting the van for 1/2 days instead of full days. This caused us to lose our first driver, Mohammad, because he was booked to take another group to the Sinai. The guide, Fatima, was not nice to us - she refused to answer our questions and got sad when we didn't want to stand for 20 minutes listening to her lecture Other than that, the trip was great. The vans provided were very comfortable and both of our drivers were very professional and nice to us. I would happily recommend using your service to my friends and relatives as long as they did not need a guide.

Even before we booked the trip Raouf was very prompt with his responses to my questions and very helpful with his answers and his customer service was part of the reason we chose your company. Walid who met us at the airport was again very helpful and explained out itinerary to us in great detail to confirm we had no questions or queries. He was also very good at checking in with us throughout the trip to make sure everything was adequate and we had no questions, this added a personal touch that made us still feel included even though it was a private tour. Super Sam our driver was indeed super and an excellent driver - by far your best driver and we will remember him always. All our guides where very informative, spoke excellent English and gave us all the required information without overloading us with facts and figures. We felt like we had adequate time to explore each location both with and without the guide and plenty of free time overall. All our hotels where excellent and for the most part accommodating when we requested a double room rather than a twin. The cruise on the Nile was amazing with a beautiful cabin onboard the boat, we where unaware of the optional extra to see Abu Simbel before returning to Cairo however that is partly our fault for not knowing or asking sooner. Overall we could not fault the tour and had a wonderful time, by far the most memorable and enjoyable tour we have ever been on and one which we will talk about for some time. I would have no hesitations recommending your company to anyone who asked and wish to thank you and your staff once again for making Egypt a truly memorable experience for us.

We did receive the luggage at our hotel at 1am and I am confident that we would not have received it at all if not for the persistent efforts of Islam in contacting the driver delivering the luggage. I also want to apologize for alarming you about Isla's late arrival the next morning. It turns out we had not understood each other on the exact time to leave for the airport. Islam did a fabulous job of helping us every step of our trip and was always there to greet us on time and help us navigate all systems for us. He worked long grueling hours (picked us up after midnight and until 2 am at the airport, bought us water - spent from 11 am to 11pm on our last day assisting us until we went to the gate) and he did it with a smile and a sense of humor.

All our children liked him immensely as well (3 difficult teenage girls and a 12year old boy). On our last day he took us on a boat, got us lunch, took us to a mosque, the bazaar, the light and sound show, shopping, etc. He was terrific.

I also wanted to say that all our tour guides were very well informed and a pleasure to deal with, i.e. Said in Cairo, and Ahmed who was with us for our journey from Cairo to Luxor. We learned so much and appreciated their style of telling us the stories behind the artwork so we could understand better what we were seeing. Ahmed was also very caring for our daughter's friend who was sick through most of the trip and made sure she received food and attention.

Thank you for arranging a wonderful and truly memorable trip for our family. It means so much to me!

We (a couple in our 60's) just returned from a fabulous trip assisted by Ask Aladdin. We can say without hesitation that we could not have managed the logistics of travel to Egypt without their expert assistance. They were thoughtful, accommodating, flexible, friendly, and extremely helpful with everything from shepherding us through the Cairo airport to negotiating the indescribable Cairo traffic to making sure we got all our connections made to guiding us through the many museums, pyramids, tombs, and temples we had the opportunity to visit. We also thought it was risky to book with an unknown but we were reassured by many posts on this and other web sites. The decision to work with Ask Aladdin was absolutely the best decision we could have made. We wanted to do some snorkeling at Sharm el Sheikh, which was not part of their usual tour packages, and they created a package just for us. We stayed at 5 star hotels and often got upgrades to suites. The price was, we figured, actually less to work through Ask Aladdin rather than to book accommodations of this caliber on our own. Most meaningful to us, the young men who made arrangements, guided us, and drove us around are wonderful people; we had real conversations with them about major issues and came away with a much better understanding of the people who live in this part of the world. Bottom line: we would do it again in a flash, and we would not consider doing it without Ask Aladdin. We recommend them without reservation -- and suggest that you visit the Islamic Art Museum, which has just reopened after a seven-year-long renovation.

I just returned from a two- week extensive tour of Egypt using Ask Aladdin, and I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM ! From the moment we arrived, to our departure, they were professional, reliable, on time, with a can-do attitude for us 100% of the time.

Ask Aladdin demonstrated professionalism and patience with us; many last-minute changes were made by our group and every guide went out of their way to accommodate us to the best of their ability. The management of Ask Aladdin was continually in contact with us to inquire if our needs were being met; which I found impressive and refreshing.

Travelling through most of Egypt’s historical sites requires addressing a large amount of details , a good deal of planning and follow-through. I am very impressed with Ask Aladdin’s services. They went out of their way to introduce us to their Egypt, including a visit to one of the guide’s homes to meet his family, which added such a great insight into today’s Egypt.

There are many tour operators in Egypt, and I can’t imagine doing a trip without an experienced, professional company. Ask Aladdin did a great job!

We had an absolutely amazing vacation courtesy of you, our guides, and all the people of Egypt that we encountered. You realize, of course, that we are the envy of everyone that sees our photos and hears our stories about our trip. Everyone welcomed us so nicely to the country, including every taxi driver and anyone else we spoke to. Our guide Abdo(Abdul) was so sweet and hard-working. He is an excellent guide - super educational & informative, and it's easy to see that he loves his work. He even made sure there was a birthday cake & singing for my husband's day. Mustafa added local information & color to his touring. Our greeter, whose name now escapes me, I apologize- was extremely efficient, timely, and courteous, tranferring us to and from airports, hotels, and sights. Upon seeing all the huge buses disgorging enormous tour groups we were especially happy that our trip was with your company. We appreciated the personal attention that comes with a small group and I'm sure we got so much more from our experience than the large groups did. For the record, we really liked doing the cruise first, then Cairo - it would not have suited us as well the other way.

Sorry for the delay in replying. We were fortunately very busy over the easter period and is only breathing easily now.
We did intend to contact you sooner to thank you for an excellent holiday in Egypt.
The service we had from your organisation throughout was excellent and can be recommended to anybody who might be interested.
Your excellent service during the initial period of enquiry and booking, meeting us at the airport by Ashraf, daily tours accompanied by very competent tour guides in Cairo and during the cruise and even the drivers of your vehicles made our trip something to remember and to recommend to everybody.
One thing that we found strange, because here we are not used to it, is the culture of tipping in Egypt. It would help a lot if you could include in your welcome pack a recommendation as to the amount one should budget for tipping, like you did for the personnel of the cruise ship.
We found it strange that one pays a man for a cruise in his faluka on the Nile and then he expects a tip after the cruise, and then gets upset if the tip is not what he wants.
One accepts that it is a culture in Egypt, but some fore-warning and guidelines will make it so much more pleasant
The guides you employ are all very competent and we can only recommend your service to whoever wants to listen.

We once again thank you for a wonderful and safe experience in Egypt. At no point in time did we feel the least threatened or unsafe. Even passing through Tahrir square on one occasion we felt completely safe and not in the least threatened. Our experience of the Egyptian people is that they seem to be a very relaxed and docile nation. The situation that led to the short period of unrest seems to have been caused by a very long period of " miss management".

We live in a situation where we are scared to go into certain areas every day of our lives and keep clear of major cities in particular.
